Heart is the busiest organ that pumps blood throughout the blood vessels to various parts of the body. Human heart is situated in the thorax between the lungs with its apex resting on the diaphragm. It measures about the size of a fist. The heart pumps blood through the network of arteries and veins called the cardiovascular system.
